Nobody should have to choose between paying for groceries and seeing a doctor. If Connecticut doesn’t act soon, thousands of people could lose their healthcare and food. Federal cuts to SNAP and HUSKY threaten to take food and healthcare away from working class people, especially moms, babies, kids, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. Connecticut is sitting on extra money. The state has to use that money to protect HUSKY and SNAP.
