Why do you do “the work?”

This work is important to me because I grew up entangled in the systems that suppress. While I have been able to personally break the chain, I still have family members that rely on the same systems to survive. I believe that the most impactful way to make change to anything is from within, and that is what I intend to keep at the forefront of my work.

What are some specific places or things you love in Connecticut?

My favorite time of year in Connecticut is the fall season. I love to see the leaves change colors and fall freely all over. I particularly love to drive up RT-15 to see the trees. I also love taking my son to different enclosed parks, zoos, and animal-feeding farms. I also enjoy the holiday season and seeing all the creative decorations.
