We’ve got to make Connecticut more affordable for working class people. It’s outrageous that housing is so expensive, even hardworking people struggle to afford rent in Connecticut. Around one in three Connecticut residents is a renter. And half of Connecticut renters are considered “cost burdened.” A renter’s tax credit would help make Connecticut more affordable and fair for working class people, our communities, and our economy.
