POLICY & ADVOCACY STRATEGIST, THE CONNECTICUT PROJECT

Tyler Mack

Tyler serves as a Policy and Advocacy Strategist where he focuses on advancing advocacy and policy efforts related to state-wide issues impacting our communities.

Tyler joins The Connecticut Project with a wealth of government experience. At the local level he’s served as a City Councilman, at the state level as the Legislative Aide to the Connecticut Senate President Pro Tempore, and the federal level as the Outreach Manager to a Congressman. In these roles, Tyler has built relationships, advanced impactful causes, and successfully navigated legislative processes for all three levels of government.

Why do you do “the work?”

As an admirer of history, it’s clear we can do the unimaginable. Societies are built from hopes, dreams, and expectations. I have hopes and dreams that we can create communities that are based on equality, love, and happiness. My work is to fulfill that through the work I do every day.

What are some specific places or things you love in Connecticut?

I enjoy going anywhere with a basketball court or indoor go-karting track. I also love the State Capitol as that’s where my expectations for our community can turn into a reality.
